Plenty of Japanese onsen still turn away a visible tattoo. Hammams run separate hours, or separate days, for men and women. Icelandic pools want you showered without a swimsuit before you go near the water. Finnish saunas are naked and quiet. Read the house rules before you book, then pack flip-flops and your own towel.
